On the morning of May 5, 2025, the International University (IU) – a member of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City – officially announced its admission information for the 2025 academic year. Accordingly, in 2025, IU will recruit 2,000 students through three different admission methods for five groups of academic programs at the undergraduate level (including programs offered by IU and joint training programs with foreign universities).
Specifically, the three admission methods for 2025 are as follows:
Method 1: Direct admission.
Method 2: Admission based on the results of the Competency Assessment Test organized by Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City in 2025.
Method 3: Admission based on the results of the 2025 National High School Graduation Examination.
The university also announced an expected allocation of 2,000 slots across five groups of academic programs, with specific quotas for each group as follows:

Certificates equivalent to IELTS will be specified in the university’s admission announcement.
Regarding bonus points in admission, the university has outlined different bonus points for various cases, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Notably, candidates who choose to convert their English proficiency scores will not be eligible for bonus points based on English certificates.
Candidates with international English certificates such as IELTS or equivalent will receive bonus points added to their admission score as follows:
